Should she listen to her doctor? Her decision may have fatal consequences.

This plot sounds do incredibly intriguing to me, and so completely different from anything else I've ever read!! I am really looking forward to reading this-- and plus, isn't the cover just gorgeous? I love the title, and love that it's written by a male author. We need MORE male YA authors, don't you think??

What is everyone else waiting on this week?

Might I add the cover matches your WOW banner, hehe.

  2. Agreed with the not many male authors and the fact we need more. They come up with amazing storylines-this being an example. Seen this around-it looks really interesting.

  6. Glad you're waiting on it...and from the looks of your page, you'll probably be thrilled to know it opens with a Lewis Carroll quote, which is also where the title comes from:

"Is all our life, then, but a dream
Seen faintly in the golden gleam"

  19. I'm really intrigued by this one as well. It seems like there are a lot of books about mental illness coming out lately -- they always make for a very psychological, thought-provoking read. I love the title too -- in this context, it's really creepy! And yes, we DEFINITELY need more male authors!

  20. I didn't even noticed it was by a male author! The book sounds a-m-a-z-i-n-g! It's on my wishlist. I love mental health related books!

  21. That cover reminds me of the US one for Maureen Johnson's The Name of the Star, but the premise sounds interesting.
