Teaser Tuesday (13)

Photobucket
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read and open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week I am reading Lost Voices by Sarah Porter. I'm only on Chapter 2 but so far it is very intriguing... Here is my teaser from this book for this week!

"Everyone could see her now, and almost all of them were giggling. Her hands were shaking so much that she had to sit on them. Desperately Luce tried to force her voice to shape the word. Just one word and she would be free again."     ~p.2
